Armbruster Humphries and Jones Win Silver in Final Day of World Cup Racing

ALTENBERG, GERMANY (January 18 2026) - The 2025/2026 World Cup sliding season concluded today in Altenberg, marking a significant milestone on the way to the fast-approaching 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics, with the Opening Ceremony scheduled for February 6, 2026. Stay tuned for USA Bobsled/Skeleton’s official Olympic Team Announcement coming tomorrow, January 19.
In 2-Woman Bobsled, Kaillie Armbruster Humphries and Jasmine Jones slid to another podium finish together:
-2nd place: Kaillie Armbruster Humphries and Jasmine Jones - 2-run time of 1:53.23
-7th place: Elana Meyers Taylor and Emily Renna - 2-run time of 1:54.78
“Kaillie’s gold and silver medals this weekend show her tireless effort over the past 18 months postpartum to get ready for the Games. She and Jasmine continue to deliver competitive starts, which means they can win any race,” shared USA Head Coach Chris Fogt about the pair’s podium finish today, following their win together at the previous World Cup tour stop in St. Moritz.
In 4-Man Bobsled, Team Horn, comprised of Kris Horn and brakemen Hakeem Abdul-Saboor, Ryan Rager and Caleb Furnell, placed 17th with a 2-run time of 1:55.75.
Since this was the last weekend of World Cup racing for the season, Crystal Globes were awarded for top 3 overall season performances in all World Cup sliding disciplines. Team Humphries was awarded a Crystal Globe for an overall second-place finish for the 2025/2026 season in 2-Woman Bobsled.
USA 1, comprised of Mystique Ro, Kelly Curtis and Austin Florian this sliding season, was also awarded a Crystal Globe in Skeleton Mixed Team, placing third overall for the season. Skeleton Mixed Team will make its much-anticipated Winter Olympic debut in Cortina next month.

Para Sport World Cup: Sigulda Race 2
Racing continued in Sigulda, Latvia today with the second day of the Para Sport World Cup.
In Para Bobsled, Team USA placed as follows:
-2nd place: Bob Balk - 2-run time of 1:28.52
-6th place: Austin Parker - 2-run time of 1:28.63
-10th place: Will Castillo - 2-run time of 1:29.20
-11th place: Tyler Jeffries - 2-run time of 1:31.88
-12th place: Doc Jacobs - 2-run time of 1:32.92
The Para Sport World Cup will continue in Sigulda on January 22nd.
