LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (July 16, 2024) - USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) has officially welcomed Polar Beverages to our amazing team of sponsors.

Much like the sports of bobsled and skeleton, Polar Beverages has a long and historically intriguing past. In the early 1880s, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Dennis Crowley developed what he believed was the most delicious bubble recipe worldwide. This innovative bartender believed that these modern carbonated drinks would boost his growing whiskey enterprise. 

However, with the rise of the Prohibition movement in New England, Crowley made a fateful choice to concentrate on his sparkling beverages and mixers. Fast forward four generations, Polar Beverages is still under the ownership and management of the Crowley family.

We work in tandem with our sister company, Wachusett Mountain Ski Area, on winter sporting events throughout the season," said Lisbet Crowley, Director of Marketing at Polar.
