NBC Universal Shoot Recap, Recruitment Opportunities, and Looking Ahead

NBC Hosts Team USA Athletes for Universal Shoot
Recently, NBCUniversal Media invited USA Bobsled athletes Kaillie Armbruster Humphries, Kaysha Love, and Elana Meyers Taylor and USA Skeleton athlete Mystique Ro to Los Angeles for a special day-long shoot. This media event—hosted ahead of each Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games—is a key opportunity for NBC and the USOPC to capture exclusive content for wide-ranging marketing, promotional, and editorial use leading up to and during the 2026 Milano Cortina Games.
The day kicked off on a Universal Studios backlot transformed into a picturesque Italian street, where the athletes joined a group of Italian grandmothers, or “Nonnas,” to learn the art of crafting a traditional antipasti plate.
In the afternoon, the group transitioned to Sunset Glenoaks Studios, rotating through five immersive, winter-themed sound stages—complete with falling snow. The athletes participated in in-depth interviews and captured dynamic video and photo content.
This footage will support NBC and Team USA’s Olympic and Paralympic storytelling in the months ahead, building anticipation for Milano Cortina 2026.
