USA BOBSLED WORLD CUP TEAM NAMED

On September 20, USA Bobsled announced that its Selection Committee had named the World Cup team for the 2025–26 season. While the IBSF World Cup circuit—the highest level of annual international bobsled and skeleton racing—takes place every winter, this year carries added significance with the highly anticipated 2026 Winter Olympics just months away in February.

The 2026 U.S. Olympic Bobsled Team will be named on January 19, 2026. Athletes selected to the Olympic team will be primarily from the World Cup roster, making this announcement a big step on the road to the Games.

Changes to the World Cup team may be made when the Selection Committee reviews the roster at the midpoint of the season in December.

“We have an exceptionally talented pool of athletes heading into the Olympic season, which made the selection process highly competitive. The committee is confident in the athletes we’ve named, and we’re eager to begin sliding in Park City next month as we prepare for the World Cup races in November,” said Chris Fogt, USA Bobsled Head Coach.
