TEAM USA SKELETON COMPETES IN FALL SELECTION RACES!

PARK CITY, UTAH (November 1, 2025)USA Skeleton competed in the final day of Fall Selection Races, which spanned October 31 through November 1, featuring two days of two-heat competitions. These race scores will be reviewed in addition to results from the Spring 2025 Selection Races to determine who will be named to the 2025–2026 World Cup Skeleton Team for Team USA.

Following several weeks of sliding at the Utah Olympic Park track, six skeleton athletes took part in the Women’s Selection Races. Full results can be viewed at USABS.com/events.

The top three for Women’s Skeleton on October 31 were as follows (based on both heats of sliding):

  1. Sara Roderick – combined time of 1:39.73

  2. Kendall Wesenberg – combined time of 1:40.39

  3. Katie Uhlaender – combined time of 1:40.40

The top three for Women’s Skeleton on November 1 were as follows (based on both heats of sliding):

  1. Kendall Wesenberg – combined time of 1:39.49

  2. Sha’Londa Terry – combined time of 1:40.03

  3. Sara Roderick – combined time of 1:40.18

Eight skeleton athletes took part in the Men’s Selection Races. Full results can be viewed at USABS.com/events.

The top three for Men’s Skeleton on October 31 were as follows (based on both heats of sliding):

  1. Austin Florian – combined time of 1:37.58

  2. Andy Whittier – combined time of 1:37.79

  3. Dan Barefoot – combined time of 1:37.89

The top three for Men’s Skeleton on November 1 were as follows (based on both heats of sliding):

  1. Dan Barefoot – combined time of 1:37.48

  2. Austin Florian – combined time of 1:37.59

  3. Nick Tucker – combined time of 1:37.83

The 2025–2026 World Cup Skeleton Team will be announced shortly by the Selection Committee. Mystique Ro had a bye through selection races and was automatically added to the 2025–2026 World Cup Team based on her second-place finish in Women’s Skeleton at the 2025 IBSF World Championships earlier this year.
