Team USA Skeleton Competes in Final World Cup Races of the Season

ALTENBERG, GERMANY (January 16, 2026) -Team USA Skeleton competed in their final World Cup races of the 2025/2026 sliding season today.

In Women’s Skeleton, Team USA placed as follows:

-17th place - Kelly Curtis; 2-run time of 1:56.59

-19th place - Sara Roderick; 2-run time of 1:57.31

-20th place - Mystique Ro; 2-run time of 1:57.34

-23rd place - Kendall Wesenberg; 2-run time of 1:58.45

In Men’s Skeleton, Team USA placed as follows:

-14th place - Austin Florian; 2-run time of 1:51.78

-22nd place - Nick Tucker; 2-run time of 1:53.20

-23rd place - Andy Whittier; 2-run time of 1:53.65

In the final Skeleton Mixed Team race before it makes its Olympic event debut at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics, Team USA placed as follows:

-4th place - Kelly Curtis and Austin Florian; combined time of 1:59.31

The final World Cup racing weekend of the season continues tomorrow, January 17th, with Women’s Monobob and 2-Man Bobsled.

USA Bobsled/Skeleton will officially name its 2026 Olympic team on January 19th, 2026.

In Women’s Skeleton, Team USA placed as follows:

-3rd place - Michelle Toukan; 2-run time of 1:56.84

-17th place - Sha’Londa Terry; 2-run time of 1:57.88 

In Men’s Skeleton, Team USA placed as follows:

-26th place - Darryl Payne Jr; 1-run time of 58.24s

-27th place - Bradley Nicol; 1-run time of 58.28s
