Team USA World Cup Race Recap: Women's Monobob and 2-Man Bobsled in Cortina

CORTINA D’AMPEZZO, ITALY (November 21, 2025) - Team USA Bobsled competed in their first World Cup races of the 2025/26 sliding season today, also marking the first World Cup bobsled races to take place on the new Cortina track.
In Women’s Monobob, Team USA placed as follows:
2nd place - Kaysha Love; 2-run time of 1:59.62
4th place - Kaillie Armbruster Humphries; 2-run time of 1:59.73
19th place - Elana Meyers Taylor; 2-run time of 2:01.90
“I feel good - it was a really good day of learning and getting back into some new competition. It was really fun to get back out there again!” shared Love after her silver-medal finish at the first World Cup Monobob race of the year.
In 2-Man Bobsled, Team USA placed as follows:
5th place- Frankie Del Duca and Josh Williamson; 2-run time of 1:52.29
11th place- Kris Horn and Hunter Powell; 2-run time of 1:52.82
28th place- Geoff Gadbois and Bryce Cheek; 1-run time of 56.93 sec
The World Cup tour stop in Cortina concludes tomorrow with 2-Woman and 4-Man bobsled, at 9:30am and 1:30pm CET. Fans can livestream the action by heading to @IBSFsliding on YouTube.
